TSD Funding for Nurse Practitioners
With regards to Training Skills and Development Program (TSD), WorkingNB has recently changed funding eligibility for Nurse Practitioner occupation to respond to provincial labour market needs.
Students attending any year of the Nurse Practitioner program could now be eligible for financial assistance through the TSD program. Therefore, it is important to encourage them to contact their local WorkingNB office to speak with an employment counsellor. A participant must have validated their employment action with an employment counsellor of the department, who will then determine eligibility based on program criteria. The training must be a required component of a participant’s employment action plan.
