Completing the Continuous Competence Program

My Profile

To assist with the completion of your annual CCP activities, refer to:

Step 1: Self-assessment
Complete in December -January each year

  • Access your ‘My Profile’ account.
  • On your home page, go to My Self Assessments.
  • Click on the plus sign to begin.
  • Completing the Continuous Competence Program, Step 1

On the next screen, click “OK” to confirm that you wish to start your CCP.

  • Complete your self-assessment by rating your level of consistency in meeting each standard of practice indicator; refer to Step 1: Self-Assessment to complete this step.
  • Once you have rated all the indicators, submit your self-assessment.

  • Once you have completed your self-assessment, select one or two indicators from the recommended list to initiate your learning plan.
  • The indicator(s) selected will be imported in your CCP Learning Plan
  • Completing the Continuous Competence Program, Step 4

Step 2: Learning plan
Develop in December – January each year 
Evaluate at end of practice year, prior to registration renewal

To create your learning plan:

  • Click on "My learning plans".
  • On the next screen, select the learning plan for the practice year.

  • Completing the Continuous Competence Program, Step 6

Based on the indicator(s) you have chosen in step 1:

  • Develop learning goals
  • List learning activities

Refer to Step 2: Learning Plan to complete this step.

Throughout the practice year, proceed with completing your learning activities. Add the date of completion of each learning activity.

Always select Save for later at the bottom of the page to save your entries.

At the end of the practice year, prior to renewal of your registration:

  • Completing the Continuous Competence Program, Step 8

Step 3: Learning module

*Mandatory

The components of the mandatory learning module are located in step 3 of the learning plan; click on each component to complete the module.

Refer to Step 3: Learning module to complete this step.

Once all 3 components are completed, your status will be updated in the Learning Modules section of your "My Profile" account.

Step 4: Recording of learning activities

Although optional, you are encouraged to keep a record of completed learning activities related to your learning plan or any other learning activity.

Submission of your CCP (for renewal of registration)

Once steps 1 to 3 of the CCP are completed, select "Submit" at the bottom of the page to submit your CCP to NANB.
