Nursing Jurisprudence

Standards of Practice

Nursing jurisprudence is the law as it applies to the practice of nursing. Nurses are responsible and accountable for their nursing practice and conduct. This requires comprehension and application of nursing jurisprudence.

  • Nursing jurisprudence

The CNNB Jurisprudence Guide prepares applicants for the completion of the Jurisprudence module as required for registration, and can also serve as a resource for practising RNs/NPs, employers, external collaborators, and health care professionals.

For more information on Jurisprudence as it applies to the practice of nursing in N.B., please refer to the CNNB Jurisprudence Guide.
