Registering with Pearson VUE
Register and create a web account with Pearson VUE at www.pearsonvue.com and pay the exam fee. Within 2-3 business days you will receive your Authorization To Test (ATT) by email. After creating your profile there is no need to advise NANB.
Once you register your account, NANB will inform Pearson VUE of your eligibility to take the NCLEX. If you have requested an accommodation (see below), all of your documents must be received and your request approved before NANB will confirm your eligibility with Pearson VUE.
Scheduling an Exam Appointment
Pearson VUE will send you an email confirming your authorization to test (ATT) and provide instructions on how to schedule an appointment online to take the NCLEX. Schedule an appointment to take the exam.
If you have been approved for accommodations, you must call the Pearson VUE to schedule your appointment.
Exam Results
Once you write the exam, NANB will receive results from Pearson VUE. You will be notified by email about your examination results within 1-5 business days after you write the exam.
Although most applicants will receive exam results on the next business day, Pearson VUE sometimes holds exam results for up to 5 business days for review.
