NB Lung: 31st Annual Respiratory Health Symposium
NB Lung invites health professionals interested in lung health and air quality to our 31st Annual Respiratory Health Symposium, aimed at increasing awareness and knowledge about respiratory health issues in New Brunswick. Last year’s virtual event saw participation from over 400 healthcare practitioners and trainees, featuring cutting-edge presentations that offered valuable professional development.
This year’s symposium will be held on September 27th, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM AT. It will be a FREE, bilingual webinar designed for your convenience.
The symposium will cover specialized topics pertinent to healthcare practitioners and the communities they serve in New Brunswick, including:
- RSV: Landscape of the Illness, Burden of Disease, and Emerging Vaccination
- Radon Gas and Lung Cancer in NB
- Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis in NB
- Cannabis: Effects on Respiratory Health and Harm Reduction Resources for Healthcare Professionals
- Rates of Lung Disease in NB: Exploring the Disproportionate Burden of Disease
