A Comprehensive Diabetes Strategy for New Brunswickers

A Comprehensive Diabetes Strategy for New Brunswickers was released in June 2011.
To improve care support to persons living with diabetes, the New Brunswick
government has created a bursary fund to support allied healthcare providers to certify
as diabetes educators. Certified diabetes education specialists promote the national
standards of care for individuals affected by diabetes in New Brunswick.

Twenty bursaries are available each year to support eligible health professionals in New
Brunswick in credentialing as a certified diabetes educator.
