Workplace Representative Network

The Association created the Workplace Representative Network to promote communication between New Brunswick nurses and the Nurses Association of New Brunswick, as well as to better inform members about the activities of their professional association.

The Workplace Representatives’  principal role is to share information they receive from NANB or their chapter by circulating or posting announcements and updates where visible to colleagues. NANB also encourages Workplace Representatives, as well as nurses in different work settings, to:

• contact the Association to obtain information concerning interest groups, practice, education needs, registration, etc.;
• communicate innovative ideas and achievements of nurses in their workplace; and
• participate in special activities to promote the nursing profession and to become involved in local chapter activities.

Important: For the program to be an efficient communications tool, Workplace Representatives must inform the Association of any changes of address, telephone number, email, and so forth or if a change in representative occurs.
