TD Insurance Meloche Monnex Scholarships
TD Insurance Meloche Monnex offers two annual scholarships in the amount of $2,500.00 each, to be awarded through the University of New Brunswick and the Université de Moncton. These bursaries are offered as support for master’s education programs in New Brunswick. The bursaries are open to full or part time students, and are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and participation in activities that benefit the nursing profession. CNF-CNA Nurses Association of New Brunswick Scholarship
The New Brunswick Nurses Foundation (NBNF) was established in 1988 by the NANB to raise funds to support nursing education. In 1996, these funds were transferred to the CNF and, in keeping with the wishes of the NBNF, an award was created for New Brunswick nurses who are pursuing studies at the master’s level and who demonstrate their ability to become future valuable contributors to the nursing profession in Canada. Education Subsidy Program for Student Nurse Practitioners
Nursing Resource Strategy for New Brunswick: Ensuring a Nursing Presence
To encourage nurses to pursue their career in New Brunswick as nurse practitioners, the Government of New Brunswick
approved an Education Subsidy Program as part of its Nursing Resource Strategy. This program aims at reimbursing tuition
fees and allocation for books.
Eligibility
Nurses who may apply are:
• Students enrolled part-time or full-time in a Nurse Practitioner Program at the Masters level.
• Registered nurses employed in nursing in New Brunswick
• Nurses who do not get funding to cover the full cost of tuition to pursue their nurse practitioner education
• Nurses whose intention is to remain in New Brunswick to work as a nurse practitioner after graduation
