Envisioning advanced nursing practice beyond 2020: Wider reach, bigger impact
The International Council of Nurses (ICN) and the Nurse Practitioner Association of Nova Scotia (NPANS) will be hosting the 11th ICN Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Nursing Network Conference 2020 in Halifax, Nova Scotia – one of the oldest cities in Canada, renowned for its warm, vibrant and music steeped culture.
The conference seeks to bring together internationally trained researchers, clinicians and students who are interested in exploring the many ways in which advance practice nursing is unfolding and evolving in various and diverse social, political and economic contexts around the globe.
We are excited that the conference is taking place in 2020, which is both the 200th Anniversary of nursing leader Florence Nightingale’s birth, and is expected to be declared the “Year of the Nurse” by WHO.
Join this international gathering of nurse practitioners, advanced practice nurses and clinical practitioners for four days of knowledge transfer, lively discussions and networking. And experience our Canadian hospitality.
We look forward to seeing you in 2020!
